Outdoor Classroom
At Gilah, we believe that the benefits of outdoor play are endless, so we have been developing the outdoor area to include a classroom. Our classroom is sheltered from the rain and sun, which increases the time we can spend outside, exploring the natural environment. The outdoor classroom provides an enabling environment which promotes all areas of children’s development as well as long extended periods of uninterrupted play.
Natural Resources
Inspired by the Forest School and other theories of teaching in early years, we have created an environment with resources that encourage children to engage in activities that support all areas of their development.
